suse 10.1 sw update problem

When I try and run the software updater--I get the following error:
 Unresolved dependencies:
Establishing script:libzypp-patch-zmdrestart.sh-2-1533-1.noarch[System
packages]
This would invalidate
script:libzypp-patch-zmdrestart.sh-2-1533-1.noarch[System packages].
Marking this resolution attempt as invalid.

I tried a lot to get that running, and then i installed SMART.
Install SMART updater.
It works well, and it updates the installation. After that, even the
original updater works.
