Discussion:
Is there any package that displays a blue screen of death?

It sounds a strange question, but I am just wondering if anyone knows of a
software package that can be run on X to show a blue screen of death that
looks like the Windows '95 one?

(a blue screen of death screensaver will do)

Regards,

Mark.

There is a BSOD screensaver. It also shows crash screens from many
other operating systems including Mac, Amiga, Atari, OS/2, Apple II,
even Linux. It's in the xscreensaver-data-extra package.
The Linux/Unix screens might be mistaken for a real crash, since they
incorporate the actual hostname on which the screensaver is running.
