I am a Linux newbie and I would like to play commercial dvd movies on my
pc using Mandriva 2006. Is there an RPM or other package that I can
download to do this? I have Kaffeine movie player- perhaps there is
a plugin for this. Thanks for your help.

The two most common players are mplayer and xine both have rpm packages
(and have some dependencies also available) for Mandriva available.
